Workaid will be taking pride of place at the centre of the Chenies Plant Fair with a stall of useful and unusual garden implements, tools and all kinds of items for sale on Sunday, 16th July. The sale starts at 10am and goes on until 5pm. We’ll have decorated the outside of the central gazebo with large farm tools, ironmongery and “what’s that thing used for?” gadgets! This graceful gazebo will house the fabulous knitted garden made by Knitters Anonymous, who supported us at the Lindengate Spring Fair in May, as well as at our Christmas Crafts Open Day last December. Do come along and see what we have on offer, as well as visiting the rest of the stalls and plants in the beautiful surroundings of Chenies Manor, a truly magnificent Tudor building and gardens.
The next Forecourt Sale will take place at Workaid on Saturday, 5th August, where we look forward to turning out an ever increasing array of interesting items you didn’t know existed. From garden equipment to boxes, fabric and tools, it’s one of those events not to be missed! We open the sale at 10am promptly, at the same time as the shop opens, which gives us enough time to set out our wares for the day.
If you haven’t been to one of our Forecourt Sales before, you’ll be amazed at what we have on offer! Where did it all come from?! We save up some goods for these occasions, it also gives us the opportunity to sell overstocks or other items that aren’t needed by the projects we support and, with extra volunteers on hand to help, we can bring out extra large or bulky merchandise for customers to look at.
Our sales tables are displayed in front of the Workaid Shop, right in front of the main Workaid building and around the corner into the car park. The back of the horticultural area will also be opened up.
If you’re not already on our mailing list to be kept informed of our Forecourt Sales, use the Contact Form to send us a message.
We’ll see you soon!
