SIMPLE WAYS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

MAKE A DONATION

It is easy to make a one-off payment. You can:

  • Text “WORK22” followed by your amount e.g. “£10″ to 70070
  • Send cheques to Workaid, 71 Townsend Road, Chesham, Bucks HP5 2AA
  • Become a Workaid Friend and make regular payments  Download our standing order mandate here

You can also visit our Just Giving Page and make a donation that way. £15 covers the cost of shipping a life-changing kit, £25 refurbishes and ships a sewing machine, and £40 buys a mechanic’s kit with metalworking tools.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

We always welcome new volunteers to join our enthusiastic and friendly team at the Workaid workshop in Buckinghamshire and to become local collectors around the country.

There are lots of opportunities available both in refurbishment and administration and full training is provided for all.

Volunteering is a great way to make a positive difference in your local community and to make new friends.

DONATE TOOLS

By donating your unwanted tools and equipment you really can change lives as well as having a positive impact on the environment.

Every year over 80 tonnes of tools are saved from landfill, refurbished and sent to projects working with some of the most vulnerable members of society.

If you, or someone you know has an old car they need to get rid of, please point them towards Giveacar, nominating Workaid as the beneficiary.

BUY A PRACTICAL GIFT

Give a gift and help change a life. Buying a Practical Gift is a great way to see what your donation is actually doing. A haberdashery kit for £10 can help a women’s co-operative establish their business. A carpentry kit for £30 given to a disabled self-help group gives them a chance to earn a living. £35 will buy a bicycle, providing a Community Health worker with the means to reach people with HIV/Aids.

Download a Practical Gift form today. At Workaid once we’ve received payment we will send you a gift certificate for you to give to your friend or relative.

JOIN OUR HIVE OF ACTIVITY
