Become a Patron or Trustee
It is inspiring to consider the difference Workaid has made to the lives of so many people since a committee was formed in 1986 by Ken Nunn, Workaid’s first Chairman (see picture opposite).
Now we need your help so that our valuable work can continue.
Our very first volunteers set to refurbishing donated tools and equipment and send them to projects where vulnerable people in East Africa could learn trade skills, grow crops and produce goods for sale in order to earn a living.
As we have grown our charity always needs volunteers, but we also need patrons and trustees. So why not put your skills and experience to use?
Why becoming a trustee will benefit you
- Put your skills and experience to use and make a lasting difference to a cause you care about
- Work with new and interesting people from all backgrounds
- Learn about the management and strategy side of charities by taking on a leadership role
As a patron
You agree to lend your name to represent a cause you feel passionately about. It will allow you to develop a close relationship with us and be at the heart of our work.
