Once again Workaid is delighted to be taking a stall at the Community Fair at Eton College on Saturday, 15th September from 11am to 4pm. This is an amazing event organised each autumn by the Eton Action committee, with all proceeds going to charity. Come and join in the fun there; you won’t be disappointed 🙂
The charming streets of Eton and the College will be dotted with all kinds of local charity and handicraft stalls, as well as plenty of food, drink, entertainment and live music for visitors, Eton boys and their families.
We’ll be filling our stall with a delectable array of collectables, tools and novelties to entice and delight our customers. Ohh, did we mention we’re spreading out into a double stall this time?
If you haven’t been to the Community Fair before, please come along this year; it’s our favourite autumn venue. Not only is it a picturesque setting, but there’s also an amazing upmarket jumble sale inside School Hall in Eton College. There’s so much to do!
You can even treat yourself to a walk down Eton High Street (past the tailor’s that still uses a treadle) to the River Thames and view Windsor Castle over the bridge… but we think you’ll have enough to see in the heart of Eton College.
You’ll be assured of friendly welcomes from everyone, an amazing sense of bonhomie with plenty to see and lots to talk about. Parking is well sign-posted, everything is within easy walking distance and all the money raised goes to good causes. It’s win-win!
So set a course for Eton and you’ll find the parking well signposted in Chamber Field. Stalls will be down Common Lane, Eton SL4 6DU. Walk along Common Lane and you’ll see Workaid’s stall on the left, you can’t miss us. We look forward to seeing you there and having a thoroughly enjoyable day out 🙂
