In response to popular request, Sandra Milton comes back to repeat this fun workshop creating fabulous necklaces from recycled ties and scarves.
In just a morning transform a rejected tie into an elegant necklace to match that favourite outfit, or maybe to give as a present. It’s recycling at its best and a lot of fun in the process. It’s bound to fill up quickly, so don’t delay – book today!
Bring along a basic sewing kit – pins, sewing needles and large and small scissors. Only basic sewing experience is needed, so everyone is most welcome.
Ties, thread, beads, small polystyrene balls and necklace fasteners will be available on the day for a nominal cost but if you have any of these items do bring them along.
If you wish to use your own choice of tie (silk or fine material) please prepare it prior to the workshop: open it up, strip the lining etc away, wash it, open out shape and iron it flat. Please do not cut the tie.
