I had the great joy of presenting to the congregation of the Selly Oak Methodist Church on Sunday 21st May. As befits anything led by Vincent, one of our wonderful trustees, it was a service full of humour and warmth, even including an opportunity to have my (non-existent) hair cut with a set of garden shears! Vincent had organized a ‘Harvest of Tools’ and his congregation, as well as people from other local churches, had donated huge numbers of items which will be used to support more projects. Happily Keith (trustee, IT guru, part-time driver) and his wife Margaret came up with one of our vans – my car boot would not have been anywhere near big enough!

The service was also the first opportunity to show the video prepared for us by AFFCAD in public. It really helped to enliven the presentation and bring what we do to life with personal stories and current pictures of the sorts of places we work and people and organisations we support.
