Workaid Shop Re-opens

The Workaid Shop first opened its doors 10 years ago and has grown increasingly successful each year. Our recent expansion and refurbishment are completed and we are pleased to be opening our doors again on Thursday 20th February from 10 am to 4 pm.

From day one we have pledged to be a ‘charity shop with a difference’, a commitment that we will continue to deliver on. Specializing in a range of tools and hardware equipment to cater to any gardening, electrical or building needs. Not to mention our enormous variety of haberdashery, crafting utensils and books to inspire your art. A real-life treasure trove! With our recent development, we will be able to display almost double the stock and improve your shopping experience. It’s undergone a huge transformation with new flooring, a fresh lick of paint and complete formatting changes. It’s almost unrecognizable.

This has been made possible by the generous donation of shelving from Waitrose Ltd. As well as our good-hearted and dedicated volunteers who have given their time to this project.

Gary Grant, founder of the Entertainer and Workaid patron, will formally unveil the Shop at 11 am on Friday, March 6th. We’d love to invite everyone to come and celebrate with us.

We can’t wait to see you.

Our opening hours are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
