Workaid Speaker’s Team

Bill Duperouzel, as a trustee and former CEO of Workaid, has taken on the role of Coordinator for the Workaid Speaker’s Team. Bill has a wealth of experience, having joined the charity in 2006, and has visited various Workaid projects in Uganda over the years.

Bill is ably supported by some enthusiastic volunteers who make up the Speaker’s Team, namely Tom Campbell, Liz Elliot, Judi Fisher, Roger Lane, Mike Lawton, Norman Rhodes, Rosa Maria Welsh and Moyra Zaman.  In addition, Paul Lynham provides valuable administrative support. Typically, the audiences for speaking engagements include: Rotary Clubs, churches of all denominations, Mother’s Union, Women’s Institute, Men’s Group’s, U3A, Outreach Groups and various other clubs such as Probus. The team play a key role in promoting awareness of the charity, seeking donations of tools and equipment as well as funds towards the running costs, and recruiting new volunteers. In this way, we hope to inspire our audiences to give their time to help make a difference and to enjoy the camaraderie that Workaid provides.

If you know of a group within a 20-mile radius of Chesham who would like to request a speaking engagement, we would be pleased to hear from them.
