Mungunyu Trading Centre - Empathy Foundation
There are five members of the Mungunyu Trading Centre group, who graduated from the Empathy Foundation in March 2023. The group received a sewing machine from Workaid but to meet the demands of their growing business, they are currently renting two additional sewing machines.
Their newly learned skills enables each of them to earn a monthly income demonstrating the value of their skills, and the positive outcome they can have on their lives.
As a united group, they plan to expand their operation by purchasing a sewing machine for each member. This collective vision showcases Empathy Tailoring Group’s determination and ambition as they work together to enhance their skills and further contribute to their economic well-being.
