Farewell Container King's
Bright and early last week we waved farewell to Container Kings bound for Lusaka, Zambia.
Before Adrian’s trip was cut short at the end of last year he managed to visit Chawama Skill Training Centre. He was immediately struck by the overall enthusiasm shown by everyone. Having been established in 2001, it was also greatly promising to see the involvement of a founder to this date. Adrian was impressed by how well organised the project was and blown away by the talents that the trainees had accrued.
From this container, this project will receive 37 boxes of carpentry, metalwork, mechanic and electrical kits of donated equipment. In addition to sewing and knitting machines alongside their accessories and materials to support their tailoring programme.
We’re looking forward to seeing how this project continues to progress and what this space for updates of feedback that we will be sharing with you.
